How The Expenses That Are Not Eligible To Be Paid By "No-Fault" (P.I.P.) Insurance Are Usually Paid
Expenses that are not eligible to be paid by "No-Fault (P.I.P.) insurance" are usually paid out of any possible settlement money received from any bodily injury liability insurance on the other side (or any uninsured motorist insurance that might be available) unless you were at fault. But, the bodily injury liability insurance company for the other side (or any applicable uninsured motorist insurance company) will not pay its share of those expenses (those expenses that "No-Fault" (P.I.P.) does not pay) until the very end of your case (as part of any possible settlement money), and that could take a long time. But, if you were at fault, or if you abandon (drop) your case (such that you never receive a settlement), you might have to pay medical bills that were left unpaid because of any applicable "No-Fault" (P.I.P.) deductible or the co-payment (the 20% share left over after the "No-Fault" (P.I.P.) auto insurance company paid its 80% share). So, do not abandon (drop) your case or you will be forced to pay any unpaid medical bills out of your own pocket.
