The Requirement That You Be Over 25 Years Old To Rent A Vehicle.

Some vehicle agencies do not rent vehicles to people under the age of 25 because they are high-risk drivers who cause a lot of accidents.  We cannot force the vehicle rental agency to do business with you if you are under 25. (The requirement that you be over 25 years old to get a rental vehicle is a business policy of the vehicle rental agency, and has nothing to do with auto insurance companies or vehicle accident laws.)  Other vehicle rental agencies will rent vehicles to people under age 25, as long as the person under age 25 buys special (overpriced) insurance from the vehicle rental agency.
