What if my case doesn't settle?
Then we must sue the other side. Filing suit against the other side can sometimes delay any payment for years, but suit is sometimes necessary when settlement discussions break down (this happens when one or both sides become unrealistic or unreasonable). If a law suit becomes necessary, we will schedule you for an in-person office conference to discuss that option with you and your family. You will receive separate written instructions and questions and answers (like these) if suit becomes necessary.
