recovered ("off the top") before any medical bills or liens are paid.
Attorney fees are not based on the amount left over after all of your
medical bills and liens are paid off first ("off the bottom"). Attorney
fees are not based on the amount of P.I.P ("no-fault) insurance
benefits recovered (because that money is not included in the
settlement money). Unless we file a lawsuit over it, attorney fees are
also not based on the amount recovered for vehicle repair, total loss
("sale"), vehicle rental or the loss in value of the vehicle after
repairs (because that money is not included in the settlement money
