What if I don't want to fully pay money to everyone that I owe out of my settlement money?
Serious disputes over how settlement money should be spent are
extremely rare (and usually involve a dispute over a large or incorrect
medical bill or a lien as described in paragraph #85). When they
occur, these disputes are resolved by asking a judge to determine who
gets what (and why) before any of the disputed settlement money
is spent. These legal proceedings are usually quick and painless, but
they do not always come out in favor of the client. (See paragraph #85
