Your vehicle claim is a separate claim from your injury case. We deal
with the insurance company representative that handles your injury
case. (We also deal with a different insurance company representative
that handles your medical bill and wage loss claim.) But, a still different insurance company representative usually handles your vehicle claim (no matter which insurance company you are dealing with). So,
in order to get your vehicle repaired or totalled (sold) more quickly,
you should take charge of your vehicle (repair or total loss) claim,
and deal direct with the insurance company representative assigned to
your vehicle claim (not the representative assigned to your injury
claim). We will tell the insurance company, in writing, to deal direct with you on that vehicle matter (but only on that vehicle matter, not on the way the accident happened, or the injury claim). When you talk to the insurance company representative about the repairs or the total loss (sale) of your vehicle, discuss only
the vehicle's location, repair costs or place of repairs, vehicle value
(appraisal), vehicle towing, vehicle storage, or vehicle rental (but, do not describe how the accident happened or talk about your injuries, etc.). Of course, if you run into problems on your vehicle claim, we will help you (but, that results in some unnecessary delays).
